As a Title I school, our school receives supplemental funds from the federal government to assist our staff in meeting the educational needs and goals of our students, particularly those most at-risk. The use of these funds are determined by our school improvement team and typically support: additional teachers, teacher assistants or tutors, professional development, learning materials and resources, technology, and parent and family events and resources to use at home.
We continually work to improve our efforts in engaging families, providing at-home support, and strengthening home-school relationships. We also create opportunities for families to provide input, participate in making decisions, and assist in the development of school level policies and plans.
